Frequently Asked Questions

When you walk into the office, you and Markie will sit down and begin your consultation. She will ask you questions like, "What brought you in today?" and "What do you want to achieve with massage therapy work?" 

You will then walk into the treatment room so the hands-on portion of the massage can begin. You will be left alone so you can get on the table and Markie will come in when you're ready. 

Once the session ends, Markie will go over what she worked on with you and ask what your long-term goals are (body maintenance, stress reduction, injury rehabilitation, pain management, etc). Together, you both will draw out an overall treatment plan according to your goals and your upcoming appointments will be booked right then and there.

Yes. Due to the fact that Markie's time (and your's) are very valuable, we ask that you give at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows for your spot to be filled and for someone else to receive treatment in your place.

Same-day cancellations and no-show appointments will result in the client paying for the full treatment price at the time of their session.

If you find that you are unable to stay for the entire length of your session, you are still responsible for the full price of your appointment. For example, if you booked a 60 minute session but can only stay for 45 minutes, you are still responsible for paying the full price of the 60 minute session.

Because of the way Markie's schedule works, a certain amount of time is set apart for you to receive treatment and she is unable to go over. For instance, if you booked a 60 min session from 2:00-3:00 PM, your time with your therapist only lasts until 3:00 PM. 

Eagle Mountain Massage Therapy shares a suite with another business named, Wendy K Team. You will see it listed on the directory under suite 140 as soon as you walk into the building. 

After you've walked through the front doors, follow the signs and go all the way down the hall and it is located on the right.

As of November 1st 2022, Markie will no longer be accepting tips from new clients.
